I think you have made some good points here, and I have also gone down the route of buying a refurbished laptop before. You will often find that you can pick up a better model cheaper then some of the crap models when buying refurbished which is always a bonus. One thing I think you have missed in this post is Warrenty, this can be something to look out for as they can really vary on refurbs.

I probably should have looked into this option when I purchased my last laptop. It sounds like you’d be able to save a lot of money this way. I do agree that you have to be sure you are buying from a reputable company. If not, someone less ethical could have used lower quality parts when refurbishing it.

Great review. Smartphones are the right hand of bloggers because you can’t be all day long on your computer.
