Steam For The Mac On The Way, With Games

Those of you who are gamers will be familiar with Steam, a gaming platform for Windows PC’s. It allows you to buy and download games direct to your PC and play them. Now let’s face it, the Mac hasn’t really got a great number of games available, but maybe now with Steam coming to the platform we may see an increase in the number of titles.

iPad To Be Released April 3rd – Pre Orders March 12th

All of you eagerly waiting in anticipation of Apple’s much wanted iPad better be getting your credit cards at the ready. In an announcement today, Apple finally revealed the release date of the Apple iPad.
Pre-orders for all iPad models, Wi-Fi and 3G will begin on March 12th and the first Apple iPad’s will be Wi-Fi only ones which will be available on April 3rd to the US only. In addition, all models of iPad will be available in Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Spain, Switzerland and the UK in late April.

Apple iPad Going On Sale March 26th?

We’ve heard all sorts of things about the iPad before its even been launched. We’ve had reports that the iPad will be in short supply at launch and will be only available in a limited numbers due to a “manufacturing bottleneck” and as a result the iPad will only be available in the US at launch. iPad Only Available In Limited Quantities For Launch

I know there is tons of people out their eager to get their hands on Apples next product, the iPad. Well you eager beavers will just have to be patient, that is if you believe what analyst Peter Misek at Canaccord Adams has to say. He is predicting that there will only be limited availability of the iPad at launch, due to “manufacturing bottlenecks”.

Apple Guilty Of Unknowingly Using Child labour

We have heard all about big multinational corporations being in the firing line when it’s been discovered that they’re using child labour. I think we all remember the big taboo over Nike when they were using child labour.
Well Apple seems to be the latest company to fall victim to this, however to be fair to them, they didn’t seem to be aware of it. iTunes Contest Winner Gets Call From Steve Jobs

Remember that contest that iTunes were running to reach 100 Billion downloads? The contest winner received a $10,000 voucher for the iTunes store. The #10,000,000,000 song was by none of than Johnny Cash, with his “Guess Things Happen That Way”. The lucky winner was Louie Sulcer, a resident of Woodstock, Georgia bought the song and was awarded with the $10,000 Itunes gift card.

iTunes Reaches 10 Billion Downloads

Just a couple of weeks ago Apple announced the ” Countdown To 10 Billion Songs “with the contest winner getting a cool $10,000 voucher for iTunes. At the time, the iTunes store counter read just over 9.8 Billion.
Yesterday iTunes reached the incredible 10 Billion download mark, it’s quite an achievement for Apple and just goes to show how dominant they are in this market.

Apple iPad Pre Orders To Start On Feb 25th?

I know lots of you can’t wait to get your hands on the Apple iPad, personally i’m not one of them but I still feel obliged to let you know all about the iPad as I’m still interested in it.
According to AppAdvice, the Apple iPad will be up for pre order next week, February 25th. Steve Jobs t0ld us that the Wi-Fi only version of the iPad would be available 60 days from the announcement ( March 29th ) and that the 3G model would be available in 90 days.

The First “iDo” In An Apple Store

I must say, this is something I haven’t seen before. Josh and Ting Li became the first couple to officially tie the knot in an Apple store.
The pair first met in an Apple store, so of course the only place suitable to get married was the Apple Store on Fifth Avenue, New York between a row of Mac Books.

Is This The iPhone 4G?

One thing is for almost certain, Apple are working on a new iPhone, the 4th generation iPhone. We don’t know of any specs or any information about it yet.
