I already do a lot of this stuff, but maybe I should be adding more automatic pinging than what comes with wordpress by default. You can also setup automatic sharing of your posts on twitter and facebook. I also have specific commentluv enabled blogs that I regularly comment on. It’s always a good idea to build extra backlinks to each post.
