Blogging is not writing what you want to write (at least as far as blogging for money is concerned), instead it is writing what readers want to read. No one would be interested in reading/listening to you, unless it’s beneficial to them in one way or another. No matter how hard you work, how well you write; fact is that until your blog posts don’t manage to “catch attention” of the readers, it’s not going to bring you or your blog any goods. You need to have a collection of catchy posts that will bring attention and recognition to your blog. Following are just some types of posts that you should consider.
Controversial Posts
Who doesn’t like spending some time on gossip with their friends? A little controversy? Something that triggers debate and make them think and then share their thoughts? You can do your blog a lot of good by bringing up a post that will get the readers getting into the discussion. The post doesn’t have to be politically correct, it doesn’t have to hurt anyone’s feelings, all you need is a little spice, heat and more importantly, a lot of room for debate. From celebrity controversies to corporate controversies, there’s always a little gossip everywhere that you can take advantage of, provided you stay alert and updated.
Posts That Sparks Curiosity
Curiosity is an instinct that that many marketers tend to bank on. Being a blogger, you need to think like a marketer, because you’ll have to market your posts in order to gain recognition, acceptance and a few bucks in the end. So, make sure you are putting up posts that spark curiosity. For example: inventions, how to do stuff, historic events (no matter what’s your blog theme, there’s always a history to it) and random facts are just some kind of posts that will perk up reader’s attention. If the information is valuable, they might as well share it around.
Posts of Art and Images
This is another good way to reduce bounce rate of your site along with giving readers a little break from continuously reading heaps and heaps of text. Regardless of the nature of your blog, there are numerous types of images or graphics that you can create or use instead of an article. From wallpapers to artistic paintings; from funny pictures to comics, you can use any of them. You can do an image based post once a week and share them through social networks, a relatively easy way to attract users towards your blog.
Something that they can connect with
People love it when you write about a personal experience. Because everyone loves to know about some real life experiences instead of going through that bookies theories and knowledge, being the author, you can share memorable incidents from your life. For example: If you have a tech blog, you can always write about a gadget buying experience gone wrong. Not only it will help your readers learn a thing or two, but it will turn out to be far more captivating as compared to those geeky posts full of technical jargons.
Taking help from media
Videos are a great way to create entertaining posts. You can record your own video or you can always embed in one from YouTube video collections. Share with your readers the YouTube videos that you find interesting and they sure will return to your blog again, to find out what you have in store.
Develop a blog, which has a mix of all of these content types along with the regular posts. Do not over do any of the, because readers would be getting bored if you come up with similar style posts one after another.

That’s exactly what I thought! Network Marketing often uses potential income to lure people in…it’s a marketing strategy just like all the good stuff about a Burger on a TV ad…but never the bad stuff. You should do you due diligence to research and read carefully before you jump at anything…ESPECIALLY BUSINESS! More than anything else, u should be thankful that it doesn’t cost anywhere near as much to start a Network Marketing Business as it does a traditional business. Hi Roberto,
This is a very interesting list of points to incorporate into your blog. I most particularly like the comments that spark curiosity and the amusing personal experience. All too often people are afraid to get off their relevant subject and tell a funny story. People love to laugh and love to share a laugh with their friends. That’s a win – win for everyone.
Great Post. Very informative. This information should save many brand new internet marketers from making the common mistake of believing all the mis leading get rich quick schemes that are being advertised all over the internet. It is refreshing to read honest internet marketing information instead of all the false promises that so many blog posters write.

I’ve never tried controversial posts. Kind of scary but I will brainstorm some ideas. Also I like your idea about the art posts, because it’s so true, most of my day is spent reading mountains of text and a nice photo is a welcome relief from all the squigglies. G+’d for great article.
To know your customer is the one major component in building a successful blog and community—that is why it is so important to blog about what you are passionate about. You are a good example of what a prospective customer is all about and what they are looking for, what their needs are, etc.
Yeah, controversy can definitely generate the buzz, especially if you are active in social media but it can also bite you big time, so unless you are a master wordsmith – I would stay away from that type of headlines :-)
Controversial posts get good visitors but again it should have some meaningful conversation ,otherwise it will have very bad effects on your blog

I think posts of art and images is easy, better and fast way to get attention of readers, because in this type of posts you do less hardwork and get messive traffic but it also depends on it that which kind of photos or images you are posting. I mean these photos should not adult, then you can attract all kind of readers.
Your article has to be unique and have a very interesting topic to get people’s attention, that’s the easiest and simple way.
Images are very important in articles and blogging, because if you can attract your reader with photo then obviously your reader will read your post and comment on it.
