So guys, since I’ve just changed web hosts (which I wrote about here), I decided I better give the blog a bit of a facelift and get it ready for the new year.
You’ve probably noticed a big difference in the site, I’ve gone back to my traditional 2 column layout instead of the 3 column one I had before. I just felt everything was a little too cluttered for my liking. This new theme is much easier on the eye and easier to use I think.
It’s also got some great widgets that come with it that you’ll see in the sidebar as well as some great social media features that you can see on the homepage.
There’s still a few things that I’ll tweak with it over the Christmas holidays, but I’d be interested to get your input on it.
What do you think of the new theme?
What would you recommend for a colour scheme with it?
For those of you who are wondering, this theme is called Freshlife by Theme Junkie and they’ve only recently updated it.
So that’s all I’ve got to say for now, please do comment on the new theme and how I can improve it!

I think two column layout is better than the three column one, because the focus is on the content now. I also feel that the facebook box could hide the fb posts snippet (it looks too large). Just the like and followers should be fine… The font size could be slightly higher and blue color goes well with this theme.

Like the new site. Like the color of the back ground. Very sharp and clean. Also noticed your website loads very quickly and looks great on my IPHONE.

the site looks good and it doesn’t really load to long. The loading process is also great and the template looks good also. So kudos to your efforts in making it happen.
The new site design looks clean and professional. Nice to look at, but not to the degree that its design draws away from the content.

I know I’m a bit late, but I can say that I like what you’ve done with the site. The first theme I started out with was the FreshLife theme and I’ve since moved on to genesis framework. As you can read from the comments your readers are def loving this design. good luck moving forward.
