Feedburner is one of the most commonly used RSS feed delivery systems, I use it on both my sites (subscribe with the link in the sidebar) to provide content to people’s RSS readers. Quite often when I’m browsing the web, I like to check the number of RSS subscribers a site has just to see how popular the site is and how I’m doing compared to them.
A lot of the time you will find sites have their feedcount displayed somewhere around the site, but sometimes some sites are a bit shy about it. This is where this neat little trick comes in, it lets you see the number of feedburner subscribers a site has, even if it doesn’t display them.
Now the one thing is, it only works with sites that have displayed the number of subscribers they had at some stage in the past, even if it was just for 5 seconds, this will work.
Just get their feed url (their subscribe link is generally this) e.g http://feeds.feedburner.com/IWontShareMyFeedcount and then modify the url so that it’s http://feeds.feedburner.com/~fc/IWontShareMyFeedcount
Then you will see their feedburner count displayed, it’s as simple as that.

Hi Shawn,
You can view their stats if they’ve had their counter active in the past,
Even if they don’t have it currently displayed on their site, it will work because at some stage in the past they did
