No don’t worry, it’s not as dramatic as the headline might suggest, in fact it’s good news. Microsoft seem to have realised that us constantly tripping over “Windows Phone 7 Series” was really starting to irritate us so they’ve done us a favour and have officially changed to name to just Windows Phone 7.
Oh thank you Microsoft, you have really just saved all us from a life of trip ups and tongue twisters. The name Windows Phone 7 Series never really made any sense to us anyway, Windows Phone 7 is a bit more practical and also ties in nicely with Windows 7.
The news came to us from the official Microsoft Phone twitter account and what a welcome tweet that was!
The change in name doesn’t have any affect on the software itself so we can still look forward to a release sometime later this year.

It is very complicated on having windows 7 phone. It is more likely to be considered on pc and laptop.
You are right Robert, It is not any bad news as it suggests but a good news that can give us relief from the irritation which Windows phone 7 series was giving us.
