Bio- Ryan is a keen internet marketer working for a company that deal with with inventory management software . He is a keen gamer and has bought all of these games apart from Final Fantasy this month

You may think that this month has been reasonably quiet when it comes to video games and this may be true if you only own one platform. However if you are like me and you own all three plus handheld consoles then you will know that this month has been just as expensive as any other month, so here are the ones that you cannot miss
out on.

Battlefield Bad Company 2

Although this game seriously lacked a gripping storyline, taking me just a few hours to defeat it, the multiplayer element of the game is fantastic and in my personal opinion, much better than the so called “game of the decade” that was Modern Warfare 2. The great thing about this game is the choice of weapons, the choice of vehicles and the best part, nearly everything is destructible! Another positive to this game is that there is hardly any opportunity for snipers to hang back and take people out without being taken out too thanks to the ever moving game. I wasn’t sure on this one initially because I didn’t like the first Bad Company but this is a truly fantastic game.

Pokémon Heart Gold and Soul Silver

These two, are of course remakes of the two games that were released on the Game Boy Colour in 2001. Now for me this was a must buy simply because it was a big reminder of my childhood and although I kind of got bored with Pokémon after these games I still go out and buy one of the two that they release every time.

I was not disappointed with the game at all, spending around 9 hours on the day of release playing it; I was immersed in the world of Pokémon and my childhood once more. Graphics have been improved, most of the game can be played on the touch screen and Wi-Fi has been added for trading and battling. On the plus side I actually know all of the Pokémon in this game whereas the new ones I have no idea what I am doing!

Final Fantasy

Although Final Fantasy is not a favourite of mine, in fact I have never really enjoyed the games, I will admit they are brilliant video games and the new one, Final Fantasy XIII, boasts fantastic graphics, a 60 hour game and of course the same battle system that fans expect from the series. Apprently there is enough content that wasn’t put in the game to have over twenty hours of DLC to insert into the game but it remains to be seen if Square Enix are going to do this.

Just Cause 2

This game boasted a massive open world and they really were not telling lies as when I picked this one up last week I was blown away by the size of the place. If awesome story telling is your thing then I would steer clear of this one, it is really for the people that were disappointed by the fact GTA didn’t have planes, tanks and other fun vehicles. The game has over 100 unique vehicles and of course there is an achievement or for PS3 owners, a trophy for getting behind the wheel of them all. The time spent on the story has been very minimal as racing across the island on vehicles and blowing things up is a lot more fun!

Bonus
Splinter Cell Conviction- Demo

The demo for this game was released this month and although I didn’t think it was as good as people promised it still looks to be a fantastic game so look out for this one mid- April when it is released worldwide.
