Those of you in the States who are agree to get your hands on latest device from Apple, the iPad only need to wait until Saturday to get your mittens on one. However spare a thought for the rest of the world who have only been told – “Sometime in April” for the release of the iPad.
While I can guarantee you that I won’t be running out to grab myself an iPad as soon as it comes out over here in Europe, it’s pretty much a given that there’s plenty of Apple fan boys who will be.
Well now rumors are starting to circulate around the web, speculating that the iPad may be hitting international shores on April 24th, 3 weeks after the initial US launch. Why so?
Canadian Website iPadinCanada.ca has heard that Apple stores are imposing a blackout on that date, which means that nobody’s allowed to take holidays. Apparently this only happens for really big launches, and to be honest, I don’t think there’s anything bigger than the iPad coming out from Apple in the next few weeks.
So unless you count the Next Gen iPhone as a major release that’s scheduled from Apple we can pretty much guarantee it’s for the iPad.
The only thing is, we’ve only heard this from Canada, but I would be surprised if Apple only released it in Canada and ignored the rest of the world.
