I must say, this is something I haven’t seen before. Josh and Ting Li became the first couple to officially tie the knot in an Apple store.
The pair first met in an Apple store, so of course the only place suitable to get married was the Apple Store on Fifth Avenue, New York between a row of Mac Books.
“We got to know each other because Ting was looking to buy an iPod…and I managed to strike up a conversation that way.
Of course, Apple didn’t “officially” sanction the event, but at 12:01 AM on St.Valentines Day, Josh and Ting Li officially said “iDo” The news was then tweeted “of course” by an Apple store employee.
The celebrant, dressed like Steve Jobs, read out the vows from an iPhone and the rings were brought in on a first Gen iPod. If they only waited a few more weeks they could have used an iPad.
I used to joke that the Apple Store is my church because I am not religious, and I loved everything Apple…Ting then came up with the idea of having the wedding there.
Well all I can say is well done to the pair for coming up with a truly original wedding idea, and I wish them all the best in the future
