This is the first Guest Post on my site guys, let me know what you think of it in the comments section below. If you’re interested in writing some guest posts please see here

So you’re into Call Of Duty 6? Cool. So you play online? Cool. Are you any good? Ehmm…..

There’s a lot more to CoD 6 than most people think. Sure it’s easy to rush out to where you think the first bad guy will be and try to pwn him, but don’t you want a streak a bit higher than 1? What the majority of players don’t think about is the bit where they die, straight after getting that 1 precious kill.

Tactics come in a huge variety. Some people like to go in guns blazing, some poeple prefer to sit back and pick their foes off one by one. It really all depends on how you like to play the game. Having played all the various tactics, i think it’s worth saying that there is one that can work for everybody. Flanking

Flanking is largely about knowing where your enemy is, and exploiting the gaps they leave in their movement patterns. Sounds complicated, right? It’s not. Getting to know where the enemy is is a simple matter of watching your radar – the little box in the corner. Try and keep the red dots in between the green arrows of your team and yourself, and you’re onto the winning formula.

Getting behind the oppositon is easy, use perks like marathon/lightweight to move quickly, and cold-blooded/ninja to stay unseen. The most important part is your gun. Silence it. Full stop. Unsilenced weapons light up the radar like a christmas tree, and you don’t want the enemy team seeing you as you try getting in their backdoor. (Pun intended)

Generally, the best weapons are the ones with the best iron sights, and least recoil. The UMP45, ACR, and SCAR-H are all classy, if a bit overused. Try out the MP5k and other altrernatives.

Most of all, have fun playing CoD. If you’re having a bad game, and getting frustrated, turn off the game and walk away. Nobody feels good losing.

If anyone feels like a game any time, feel free to add Am29 on PSN. I’ll leave you with a little  pic of what can  be achieved with these stealthy tactics. -

Thanks to Am29 for that
