Alienware’s Core i7 M15x & M17x Now Available
Don’t deny it, you know you want one, and if you don’t then there is something wrong with you!
Alienware make the some of the most powerful machines on the planet, and they have incredible looking designs and bodies. Alienware, which is owned by Dell, didn’t reveal very much to us at CES about the specs of the forthcoming M15x & M17x models they announced.
Well these laptops which are a gamers heaven have the latest Intel Proccessors, the Core i3, Core i5 and the monster Core i7. With the 15-inch M15x you can have either a 512MB NVIDIA GeForce GT 240M or a 1GB NVIDIA GeForce GTX 260M graphics card, so gaming won’t be a problem at all. They come with Windows 7 64-bit and you have a choice of a 15.6-inch WideHD+ 1600 x 900 – WLED screen or a 15.6-inch WideFHD 1920 x 1080 – WLED screen.
You also get a heap of flash LED’s that you can customize and change the color of. You can have from 2GB – 8GB of ram and up to a 500GB Harddrive or 256 SSD for those of you with some spare cash.
And for the big daddy, the M17x you can have pretty much anything up to a Core i7-920XM processor, dual 1GB GeForce GTX 280M GPUs (or a pair of Radeon Mobility HD 4870s ). Blu-ray drives if you want and some dam impressive 1200p screens, thats better than full 1080p HD!
The M15x starts at $1,199 (and should ship early next month), while the M17x starts at $1,799 with a Core i7.
