Interested in trying out the new Google search interface? It won’t be available to the public until next year but you can know try it out for yourself and get a sneak preview of it before it’s officially released. It also appears that Google are trying out this new search interface on random users.
The new interface is cleaner and more colorful than the current version and gives the user more options, with a permanent sidebar. Very like Bings…… Maybe Google are concerned about Bing taking some of it’s market share and an update to its interface may be what is needed, either way it hasn’t changed in a long time.
So to try it out for yourself follow these steps:
Go to www.google.com ( make sure it’s google.com and not your own regional version of google )
Then once google.com is fully loaded, past the following code directly into the address bar, replacing http://www.google.com
javascript:void(document.cookie="PREF=ID=20b6e4c2f44943bb:U=4bf292d46faad806:TM=1249677602:LM=1257919388:S=odm0Ys-53ZueXfZG;path=/; domain=.google.com");
Then simply reload the page or open a new window and their you go!
Let us know what you think of the new interface in the comments
