It appears the rumors that were floating around that Google would be unveiling a demo of it’s new Chrome OS this week
have been true. It now appears Google are ready to unveil it’s new OS which they have done a very good job of keeping quite.
The Chrome OS is expected to launch sometime next year and is aimed at the netbook market firstly. The OS is to be based on a light weight browser and was announced in July.
Well tomorrow, Thursday we shall find out more, official invitations said that demos of the new OS would be shown off, at Google’s headquarters in Califronia. As well as this expect to hear a speech from Sundar Pichai, vice president of product management, and Matthew Papakipos, engineering director for Google Chrome OS. Google are said to be giving a complete overview of the new OS so we may see a early 2010 launch.
So now we will have to wait and see what Google have to say about this well kept secret.
