While many of you may be avid Guitar Hero fans, there’s a new Hero on the block now. DJ Hero from Activision is now out and on your local retailers shelves.

The Nintendo DSi was released earlier this year and rumors of a possible larger model have recently emerged. Well today Nintendo confirmed those rumors and have announced a new 4.25-inch dual screen model. It is the same as the existing DSi, but has slightly larger screens.
It will be known as the DSi LL in Japan and the DSi XL in Europe, no plans has been announced for release in the US as yet. It will go on sale in Japan on 21 November for 20,000 yen ( $220 ) and …

The guys over at Engadget have managed to get a first hands on look at the new Motorola Droid. The Droid is set to become the first real Android competitor with the iPhone from Motorola and will be available with Verizon.
Motorola claim it is the worlds thinnest phone with a full QWERTY keyboard and it really looks the part. Engadget have said the following about it:

I just stumbled across this video on Engadget, 22 passionate Microsoft employees put together this Windows 7 logo with 7000 dominoes, complete with fireworks for a finale, it’s quite impressive
I can’t imagine how long it would have taken to put together, but it only took 3 minutes to come back down. It was created by 22 employees at Microsofts Hyderabad Center in India.

The Wii is well know for its clean white look, but a couple of months ago, a Black Edition was released in Japan. Nintendo said it wouldn’t be coming to Europe but now it appears that was a false claim.
Amazon now have a Black Nintendo Wii listed on its store, complete with Wii sports resort and motion plus controller for £164.99. It is available for pre-order now and will be shipped from the 6th November.This Wii is listed as a limited edition so it may not be around forever.

The iPhone’s reign of exclusivity with O2 in the UK & Ireland is rapidly coming to an end. The Guardian recently announced that Orange is going to be offering the iPhone 3GS ( and 3G ) in its stores from the 10th November. O2 loses it’s 2 year exclusivity on the 9th November so they are wasting no time in taking advantage of this opportunity.
Carphone Warehouse and Phones4u are expected to stock the iPhone on behalf of Orange as well and don’t forget that the iPhone is also coming to Vodafone early in 2010 …

22nd October is the date Windows 7 was officially released to the public. Millions of users have been running betabuilds and RC’s and all have been giving positive feedback about Microsofts new OS. I myself am one of these users, I’ve been using Windows 7 RC1 since July as my main OS and have practically no problems with it.
It’s one of the smoothest, cleanest and easy to use OS’s I have ever tried. Its full of great features like the new Aero Effects and Homegroups and its fast at booting …
